1 & ½ cups basmati rice boiled. When almost done add in a few slices lemon. Drain and set aside.

Chicken for gyro bowls

1kg chicken fillets cut into strips. Wash & drain

Marinate with:
3 tablespoons double cream yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon @sujees_gourmet_food green masala
Freshly chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Freshly ground black pepper
A pinch of paprika
1 teaspoon aromat
Salt to taste

In a pot add 2 tablespoons oil. Cook chicken till done and tender. Do not over cook. Chicken must be soft and not dry and rubbery. Best cooked on low heat.

To serve gyro bowl:

Chop cucumber
Chopped red onion
Tomato chopped
Olives
Feta crumbled

Tzatziki
[Double cream yogurt, grated cucumber all water squeezed out. Salt & pepper to taste]


Arrange rice, chicken and veg. Top with tzatziki. Enjoy. Sprinkle zaatar over.

Can also be served with pitas or crackers.

1kg chicken fillets cut into strips. Wash and drain.

In a pot braise 1 onion in 3 tablespoons oil till golden.
Then add:
1 teaspoon @sujees_gourmet_food alipoor roast masala
1 teaspoon @sujees_gourmet_food ginger garlic masala
1 teaspoon chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon fine cumin
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
1 sachet tomato paste
½ cup yogurt
½ cup cream
Add all ingredients besides yogurt and cream.
Marinate chicken and cook with onions till well done and tender. Then add yogurt and cream and simmer. Serve with rice or naan. Enjoy.

-Baby potatoes steamed in microwave for approximately 17 minutes depending on microwave with some water
-Baby carrots steamed in microwave for approximately 12 minutes depending on microwave with some water
Baby corn – steamed in microwave for approximately 9 minutes depending on microwave with some water
-Cauliflower & broccoli steamed in microwave for approximately 15 minutes depending on microwave with some water

In a pot add
100g butter
2 teaspoons aromat
2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon @sujees_gourmet_food green masala
1 teaspoon cajun spice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon garlic flakes


Add all veggies once steamed and drained
Allow to simmer for a few minutes
Add ¼ cup fresh cream
Once it sizzles serve
Enjoy

Penne pasta boiled al dante
Drain and set aside

3 chicken fillets cubed, washed and drained
In a pot add:
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons aromat
1 teaspoon cajun spice
1 teaspoon garlic flakes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons lemon pepper
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
1 teaspoon @sujees_gourmet_food green masala
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons creamy mayo
2 tablespoons nandos pepper sauce
2 tablespoons steers garlic sauce
Add pasta and mix
Then add ½ cup first choice cream
Allow to sizzle
Serve
Enjoy

2 butternuts cut into chunky cubes
1 purple onion cut into thin slices

Sprinkle salt and drizzle olive oil.

Pop into preheated oven at 200 until soft.

You can add either sugar or maple syrup halfway through. (I omitted)

Add drained chickpeas and sweet chilli sauce. Add feta and pecans. Bake till warm and serve immediately. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander.

Pic doesn’t have coriander as I took pic before adding coriander leaves.

4 eggs separated
1 cup castor sugar
1 cup + 2 tablespoons cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup boiling water

Method

1) Sift dry ingredients together

2) Make a well in the center and add egg yolks

3) Add oil and water to dry ing. Mix till no lumps

4) Beat egg whites till stiff and add to flour mix

5) Pour batter into prepared pan (rectangular pan) and bake @ 180° for 15-20 min. Depending on your oven and pan used.

Whisk some apricot jam and spread over. Sprinkle coconut. Enjoy

1 & 1/2 chickens cut & washed
4 medium potatoes peeled and cut in 4
2 medium tomatoes grated / liquidised
1 big onion or 2 medium chopped fine

In pot braise onion in oil with:
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cardomom pods
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 whole black peppers
2 cloves
Once onion turns golden brown, add:
2 teaspoons ginger garlic
1 teaspoon sujees ginger garlic paste @sujees_masala
1 teaspoon sujees peri peri masala @sujees_masala
1 teaspoon fine red chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
½ teaspoon coarse red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
Salt to taste
Add chicken, potatoes, tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix well.
Once it sizzles add water and cook till done and potatoes are soft.
Serve with rice and onion sambals.

Alternatively one can cook the potatoes in the microwave and add to the cooked curry.
I cut potatoes into 4. Put in a microwave safe dish with 1/4 cup water, salt, fine red chilli powder, a pinch of tumeric and a Drizzle of oil and microwave for 12-14 minutes.
Depending on your microwave.
Also if using fried onions, add all ingredients to pot, add chicken and cook everything together.

1kg fillet steak cut and washed. Drain and marinate with:

1 teaspoon garlic
2 teaspoons @sujees_gourmet_food steak and chops masala
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons creamy mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
A dash of white pepper
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon bbq spice
1/2 teaspoon steak and chops spice
4 tablespoons nandos pepper sauce


Allow to marinate. Cook on very low heat with a slice of butter. When almost cooked add 200ml fresh cream. Garnish and serve with a side of your choice.

4 potatoes wash and cut into wedges with skin on

In a bowl add:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
Salt to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper
Red chilli flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Add the ingredients to potatoes and cook in microwave till cooked but not too soft.
Sprinkle mixed herbs and chilli flakes.

Grill in oven till crispy
Enjoy.

Allahumma barik

Wash and prick potatoes with a fork
Microwave for approximately 10-15 min depending on microwave.

Cut into 4 not all the way through
Push up
Sprinkle salt and add butter. Be generous. Top with sour cream and chopped spring onion. So simple and so good.
